Get In The Dog House!

That’s the gourmet food choice this November as a new culinary concept continues at Ruddington’s Bar Six – where the chefs and menus CHANGE every four weeks!

The ‘Kitchen Takeovers’ started at the Dutton’s Hill venue on 3rd October 2017 with Brazilian Churrasco courtesy of Franco’s. A different street food or cuisine is continuing to be offered each month courtesy of local, independent traders.

Lucy Would, who runs the Ruddington business in partnership with John Noble, promises the chefs and servers booked for this ground-breaking dining initiative are of a very high calibre: “All well established, having had presence at various festivals and events including the increasingly popular Nottingham Street Food Club in the Victoria Centre, Splendour Festival and heaps more! We hope that the concept will bring something new and fun to Ruddington – even giving residents and visitors an opportunity to try new foods they may not normally opt for” explains Lucy. The Kitchen Takeovers have replaced their previous evening Tapas menu until further notice.

The Dog House are in residence from 31st October to 25th November. They offer gourmet hot dogs and sides including nachos, chicken wings and a variety of fries. They make all of their own relish and also offer veggie and even vegan hot dogs.
It’s “kids eat free” every Friday and Saturday between 5-7pm (1 free child’s meal for each full paying adult). Bar Six will be kicking things off with a “Family Halloween Party” on Tuesday 31st from 5 to 7pm – which includes this offer.
